Data Connectors

Prembly's Data Connectors allow you to securely ingest data from your internal systems, third-party applications, and cloud storage providers without writing complex custom integration code.

By centralizing your data pipelines, you can automatically feed information into Prembly's core engines, such as Fraud Scan, Transaction Monitoring, Customer 360, and Email Validation, for real-time analysis and compliance checks.

Supported Connector Types

Prembly supports a wide range of connector protocols to fit any infrastructure:

  • REST API: Define custom HTTP endpoints, headers, and authentication methods. Prembly will periodically poll or listen to your API for new records.
  • Cloud Storage (Amazon S3 & Google Cloud Storage): Securely pull bulk files, compliance logs, or KYC documents directly from your cloud buckets.
  • Webhooks: Push real-time event payloads directly to Prembly's ingestion endpoints.
  • OAuth Integrations: Native, one-click authentication flows for popular enterprise apps like Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive.
  • Zapier: Connect Prembly to thousands of supported applications using no-code triggers and actions.
  • File Upload (Excel/CSV): Map and import structured spreadsheet data directly into Prembly.

Setting Up a Connector

You can manage all your integrations from the Connectors Dashboard (/dashboard/connectors).

1. The App Hub

Clicking Add Connection opens the App Hub, a unified wizard where you can browse and configure new data sources.

  1. Select a Source: Choose from our pre-built integrations (e.g., Google Drive, S3, REST API).
  2. Configure Authentication:
    • For OAuth apps, click Connect to authorize Prembly via your browser.
    • For APIs and Cloud Storage, provide your Access Keys, Secret Tokens, or Bearer Tokens.
  3. Map the Data Fields: Use our visual mapper to tell Prembly which fields correspond to required compliance data (e.g., map your user_id to our customer_id, or ip_address to our fraud_ip).

2. Granting to Products

Establishing a connection is only the first step. To ensure data privacy, you must explicitly Grant a connector to a specific Prembly product.

For example, if you connect an S3 bucket containing transaction logs, you must grant that connector access to the Transaction Monitoring module.

  1. Navigate to your active connector's Details page.
  2. Click Grant to Product.
  3. Select the modules that are allowed to ingest this data (e.g., Customer 360, Fraud Scan).
  4. Save your changes. The selected products will immediately begin ingesting and analyzing the data based on your configured polling schedule.

Managing Connector Health

You can monitor the status of all active connectors directly in the dashboard:

  • Pull History: View a chronological log of every data synchronization event, including the number of records ingested and any failed batches.
  • Error Logs: If an authentication token expires or an API rate limits Prembly, the connector will enter an Error State. You can view detailed error traces to diagnose the issue.
  • Revoking Access: You can pause a connector or permanently revoke its access to specific products at any time without deleting the underlying configuration.
