The Prembly Workflows engine is the central orchestration backbone of the Prembly platform. It moves your operations beyond single, disjointed API endpoints into cohesive, adaptive end-to-end execution journeys.
Whether you are automating customer onboarding (KYC), managing staff presence and biometric attendance (Check-In), onboarding B2B vendors, or executing corporate fan-out checks on company directors (KYB), Workflows provides the visual builder, execution engine, and monitoring telemetry to manage it all.
The 5 Core Pillars
The Workflows architecture is built on five interconnected modules accessible directly from the dashboard:

Configure multi-node pipelines using visual canvas tools, complete with conditional branches and retries.

Execution Lifecycle
Every workflow execution passes through an orchestrated lifecycle:
1. Ingestion & Initiation
A workflow run can be triggered through multiple avenues:
- An Event Trigger matching an incoming business webhook.
- An end-user opening a branded Hosted Share Link.
- An embedded session launched through the Web, Flutter, or React Native SDKs.
- A direct server-to-server API invocation.
2. Form & Data Intake
If configured, the applicant is presented with a dynamic intake form to supply essential profile data, documents, or custom context before verification nodes execute.
3. Node Orchestration & Evaluation
The engine sequentially or conditionally evaluates each node in the pipeline:
- Validating government identity registries.
- Running facial liveness checks and document OCR.
- Querying AML, PEP, and sanctions databases.
- Verifying GPS coordinates against geofenced boundaries.
4. Adaptive Routing
Based on real-time outputs, the engine decides the next step:
- Decision Branches: Routes down specialized paths based on country, channel, or verification outcome.
- Go-Back Loops: Directs the applicant to retake blurry selfies or re-upload cropped documents.
- Fan-Out: Automatically initiates parallel sub-workflows for corporate officers in KYB flows.
5. Final Disposition & Observability
Successful runs complete and dispatch webhook notifications to your backend. Anomalies, borderline scores, or watchlist hits seamlessly trigger manual review Approval Chains or generate compliance cases in Case Management.
