Wallet Funding

This contains information on how to fund, manage and view your wallet transaction history.

When a user signs up, an Identitypass wallet is automatically created for their account. This wallet can be used to top up the user's Identitypass accounts, which are needed for verification request transactions.

Wallet Debits

Verification requests made through Identitypass are paid for using funds from the user’s wallet. Please note that, at present, verifications are handled on a prepaid basis.

Funding your wallet

  • Visit the subscriptions menu of the dashboard and select wallet
  • Click on the top up button
  • Select the business and amount to top up
  • Select the payment method and click the proceed button. Reach out to [email protected] for issues please

Depleted Wallet

When a wallet balance is depleted, the Identitypass user cannot successfully make a verification request. To avoid verification request failures, make sure your Identitypass wallet is sufficiently funded.

Setting Threshold Prompts

Identitypass users can configure wallet thresholds to receive alerts when their balance drops below a certain level. Setting a wallet threshold is advised to help ensure that verification requests do not fail due to a lack of funds.
